It also control the reciprocal interaction with t cells, macrophages and dendtric cells. Therefore it can reduce or accelerate immune response.

2. The lymphocyte which are responsible for humoral immunity are B lymphocytes. Helper t cells changes B cells into plasma cells. The plasma cells produce and secrete antibodies.plasma cell production of abtibodies and B lympocytes are the 2 factors responsible for humoral immunity.

3. The cell mediated immunity is an immune response involves the activation of phagocytes, t lymphocytes, and release of cytokines in response t antigen. It is the response of T cell and macrophages.Exposure of t lymphokines turns the macrophages to produce phagocytes. Activated t cell produce lymphokines and transfer factor.

4. Antigen- a foreign substance which induces the immune response or production of antibody. Eg. A bacteria or virus.

Antibody- it is a protein or immunoglobulin produced by plasma cells in response to an antigen.

Marophages-
