The Patient Protection Affordable Care Act or Obamacare as formulated in 2010.The main aim of this was to afford healthcare to all.It provided insurance to low income people and the very low income people were also covered by the Medicaid. This as a result made healthcare accessible to all. Before 2010 nearly 79 millions of American didn't have an insurance or where underinsured according to Commonwealth Fund Report.This was possible by taxing the healthcare provider,hospital and wealthy people and using it to care the low economic group.This has led many wealthier and tax payers to withdraw the insurance finally causing a lag in the financial status of the nation's growth and is under trails in Trump for transformation
Overall the Obamacare has increased and helped more people to access and afford healthcare and stay healthy.
