A new patient wants to pay for his services at the end of the office visit. The charge is $75. The patient writes a check of $100 and asks Laura for $25 in currency in return. How should Laura handle the situation?

If patient paid his service charge by check then it is not possible it deposited same day. Due to bank procedure it will takes 2 to 3 days to deposite.
Now , such situation makes trouble any one because still money not deposited in account and how can she return 25 dollars.
She should understanding the patient that the remaining amount will be given to him as money deposited by check.
If the is regular or trusted in that case she should allow that and return 25 dollar but patient not is this kind then she must tell him for cash payment.
