1. Five segments of population health

There are many domains of wellness including physical, emotional, spiritual, intellectual, environmental and social wellness. The spectrum in population health includes wellness to catastrophic illness. Other segments include chronic disease and acute illness. These are important while conducting the research or development because these are the main points or aspects which act as base , on which further improvement and advancements has to be made .

2. The key elements or tasks of research process include :-

- problem definition

- developing an approach to the problem

- research design formulation

- field work ,data preparation and analysis

- report preparation

3. Yes ,off course it's a mandatory step and more valuable to assess the effectiveness of the efficiency of population health programs because then only we can come to know about the affect of the implementation of these new health welfare programs . It should be effective and helpful for the population otherwise it's just waste of time , energy , resources and funds.
