* Pulmonary artery help to carry deoxygenated blood from right

   ventricle of the heart to lungs during cardiac cycle.

* Pulmonary artery hypertension a condition in which blood pressure

   in the pulmonary artery increases due to narrowing or blockage of

   pulmonary arteries.

* This pulmonary hypertension result in increasing the workload of right

    ventricle of the heart to pump deoxygenated blood to the lungs for oxygenation.

* Because of increase in workload of right ventricle muscles of right ventricle

    become enlarge due to overactivity which leads to right ventricular hypertrophy.

* High blood pressure in the pulmonary artery also leads to enlargement of pulmonary
