There are several drug classifications (e.g., benzodiazepines, ACE inhibitors). Choose a classification and one drug within that classification, and discuss the pharmacological aspects of this particular drug. Give examples of how and when this drug is used.
ACE inhibitors (Angiotensin Converting Enzyme inhibitors) area group of drugs used to treat hypertension or elevated blood pressure. These drugs simply dilate the blood vessels and increase the blood volume and the pumping capacity and hence decreasing the blood pressure. These drugs usually ends up with the "pril" eg., captopril,Benzepril, Lisinopril, Enalpril, etc.,
Pharmacological aspects:
Lisinopril
Classification:ACE inhibitors
Action:Antihypertensive drugs
Indication:
Dosage:
Adults:10mg/day as starting dose gradually can be increased to maintain ace dise of 20 to 49 mg .The maximum dose which is recommended is 80mg/day
Pharmacological action
This drug when administered stops the conversion of angiotensin 1 to angiotensin 2 which is responsible for constriction of blood vessel. As a result when this action is stopped the blood vessels dilate and decreasing the blood pressure. It also stops the breakdown taking place in bradykinin which is a vasoconstrictor. This both leads to decrease in blood pressure.

1. Choose TWO classifications of Psychological Disorders, e.g. Mood Disorders, Schizophrenia, to discuss the biological theories of abnormal behavior including neurotransmitter/hormonal imbalances, genetic vulnerabilities, temperament, and physical damage to brain structures and how they might be a causal factor in the development of the disorder. INCLUDE research evidence and examples from relevant case studies to support your answer.
There are several different modes of transmission for communicable diseases (e.g. food borne, vector borne, respiratory etc.) discussed in your textbook. Choose ONE disease that falls into one of the categories and discuss the methods used to control this disease. Why might it be difficult to eliminate or eradicate his disease? Be Specific and use supportive examples to support response
Choose one of the major learning theories - behaviorist, cognitive, social learning, psychodynamic, or humanist - and discuss how that theory can be used to increase or decrease a behavior. Discuss and give an example of how you might apply these principles when you teach patients in your area.

Seope: This science commentary claims that epigeneties plays a role in cancer cells becoming therapy-resistant. The language used is generalized for the non-scientist and does not include any molecular details, such as methylation of a specific nucleotide in an allele or modification of a specific histone tail amino acid. How would you respond to this post? Several problems can arise when evaluating divisions that have different accounting methods. One of the issues that can arise is determining overhead costs and allocating inventory within various divisions. In this case, one division could calculate inventory costs difference from another division, which can cause inventory value to be under or overstated. The second problem is the accuracy of net profits based on the accounting methods used by each division (Schneider, 2017). The...
