We know that Q1 × C1 = Q2 × C2

Given data : C1 =70%

Q2 =1liter= 1000ml

C2 = 5%

Q1= unknown

Therefore, substituting the values,

Q2C 1000ml x 0.05 Q1C1 .70   71.43ml

Ans: 71.43ml of 70% dextrose is needed.
