Answer #1

Fluctuations in share price

Share prices change because of supply and demand. If more people want to buy a stock than to sell it, then the price moves up. Conversely, if more people wanted to sell a stock than buy it, there would be greater supply than demand, and the price would fall.

Both Facebook and Amazon being the big players of market and Multinational companies. There would be daily changes in demand and supply for both companies as stocks of this company are traded globally. Hence in the data mentioned above we see weekly changes in the stock price which is totally due to fluctuations in market and changes inn demand and supply ratio for both companies.

For Facebook we see week high as $224.14 in week 2 and week low as $201.91 in week 4 which means in week two demand for Facebook stock was high compared to week 4 in above data. Similarly for Amazon we see that in week 6 the price was high at $2134.87 and in week 2 the price was low at $1870.08 this both stocks indicates that the demand for Amazon is increasing compared to Facebook at the given time.
