At this situation the patient requires Intravenous fluid that contains electrolytes as the patient is dehydrated too. The third degree burn is the serious burn and required instant IV fluid supplements.

The complications occurs in this case as increased risk of skin infection, loss of consciousness. The nurse should immediately give the antibiotics through IV.
