Leadership refers to leading a group by a leader.To maintain a high quality leadership one should develop skills related to it.There are various types of skills.It can be simply divided into two fixed leadership style and flexible leadership style.
In fixed leadership style the leaders are very concerned about the target and never wants anything to be changed in between the plan executed.They are very directive,autocratic, authoritative to their employees.There are high chances of conflicts if one doesn't adhere with the rules set by them.For example.If a senior nurse is on overduty and very tired ,if the supervisor assigns a critical ill patient to this staff besides knowing the situation. There are high chances for error and the staff feeling exhausted to continue the work in a smooth manner.
A flexible leadership skills refers to the elder being able to adapt to changes and able to implement the same for the beneficiance of the staff.This creates a positive environment to work .If there is a suggestion provided to the leader,he will be able to so it so the work doesn't interrupts.This will further enhance the innovation,efficiency and the capital of income.It clearly shows a change oriented leadership behaviour. It can bring a rapid change in social and economical environment. Thus it is productive.
