The constitution is 230 years old. Do we still need it?
Constitution was framed before 230 years.Though the constitution is not completely perfect and correct, but it we still need it.Constitution has developed entire country and increased the growth of country economically. It has imposed various laws, rules and regulations where all people of different tradition, age, caste, etc need to follow.Constitution was never biased and it never differentiated people on age, race, gender, caste, etc.Constitution treats all the people in a same manner and provides equal power of enjoying rights for the entire population of the country. It has offered freedom and rights to every person of the country.Constitution has given powers, rights and makes sure that every person is enjoying these rights, powers and freedom.Constitution helps in maintaining harmony in the country by not encouraging any kind of violence among people of different traditions, castes, etc.Constitution also take decisions and does justice to the country and to people in the country.Any issues of people relating to their personal matters, property, professional matters are solved by giving perfect judgement without being biased.
Constitution has provided power to governments at both state and central level. These state and central governments are given power to solve the problems and to develop state and nation both economically and socially.Constitution achieved and developed the state and nation to an extent. If constitution has not been framed, then the state and central government would frame their own laws, rules and regulations and these rules would differ from state to state by creating social disputes among the people of those states.Even there would be no limit on budget and revenue and it would lead to economic disputes. No proper format and procedure would exist and this might lead to excessive production, uncontrollable illegal activities, etc. This would destroy the entire economic system,GDP,per capita income, social and economic growth of states and nation as well.Constitution has set laws where both national and state governments need to follow and peace is maintained among states.
Therefore, these are things which make constitution necessary and is unavoidable. There are certain laws, rules and regulations set by constitution which promotes economic and social growth and helps in developing the nation. It also protects the rights and powers of people. So,we still need constitution for regulating particular laws and rules in the country and for providing and protecting freedom of people.
