What do you remember about classmates with severe depression or anxiety and suicidal tendencies? What kind of supports was available in your school or community? To what extent was the issue of teen depression and teen suicide discussed in your school or community?

Classmates with severe depression, or anxiety and suicidal tendencies -

In my class there were many students who suffered from severe depression and anxiety due to many reasons like some were depressed because they were not able to perform well in exam or study even after well try. Some were due to fear of teacher, who used to humiliate the students during morning time in prayer, who were not regular in study.

Some students due shortage of Attendence, due to which they were not allowed to appear in final exam.

But no one was there, who thinks of suicide.

Support available in school or community - basically there were some time during which students can do any activities which they finds, can remove their stress or anxiety like sports activities, music or arts and crafts work. In community not such activities were there,.

There were some lectures or some discussion or debate regarding depression, monthly in the school , and in community parents or other family members used to motivate, if found depressed .
