Discuss a major concept that you learned in Introduction to Chemistry class?

This is the discussion question how other students respond down below.

Response 1 honestly, I believe the periodic table, and lewis structure will be stuck in my head for a long time. because when I had to do the drug study, I had to study more of it, especially the lewis structure. so I would say the major concept I learned in this class is the periodic table and lewis structure. Mind you, I also learned a whole lot more, but upon reading this topic, lewis structure popped in my head, because it took me a long time to understand that topic. chemical reactions was also a cool topic to me, I will remember all these topics because we had to do a ton of worksheets (chem 2x students will understand). Overall, I am very grateful to our professor, for understanding our concerns and personal school struggles. you gave us 3 attempts for exams, the exams were not overwhelming, you used your experience to better our experience, you structured your class well and I appreciate you for that. thank you so much! and I definitely will take your class again, and I will recommend you to anyone who wants to take chem.

Response 2 I think the thing that I learned the most is the periodic table. I feel like somehow, no matter what lesson we were on, I looked at the periodic table. I only ever didn't work on this class for 4 days this semester, so that means that I looked at the periodic table at least once a day, every day for 47 days! That's a lot! Plus, with our periodic table extra credit assignment, I became super familiar with the symbols of the elements. I honestly did not know that you could spell so many things with the periodic table symbols. The assignment was fun and it kind of reminded me of how you can spell things with phone numbers, you know, back in the old days. I think knowing the periodic table can kind of help because I noticed in hospitals you will see certain medication or IV bags with letters on them and typically they are periodic table symbols. For example, in the hospital, I was given an IV fluid bag and the IV pump said that I was being given KCl, which I knew was potassium chloride. I checked the bag and sure enough, I was being given potassium chloride. This semester, while stressful, was much easier with having a great professor. I appreciate all of your support throughout this class and hope that you enjoyed having us as students :)

I NEED A RESPONSE TO THE DISCUSSION BELOW. Since I am an Operations Management major, this class was one of my electives.
