Nurses have four main role in population health.which contains

1.they should have the capability to preventing disease .Make the people understanding about importance of personel and environmental hygiene,immunization,follow up,healthy diet in humans life.this would help to prevent the disease to a great extend.

2.they become the part of enhancing life span of people by giving quality care and treat ment when the patient is under their care.

3.they should promote the health through community health programmes especially among the people who are un educated.

4.they work in public and private sectors and some times give individual care according to the necessisty of the organisation or patient
