We are working to start a presentation about breast cancer and need some help please to write the outlines.

We need to write a SHORT one paragraph outline of our presentation, which should include the points covered in our description of the case (ex. symptoms, physical, history, family history), followed by the points of our description of the disease in general (ex.: mutation/cause, pathology, evolution, treatment, nursing recommendation)

Symptoms:

  • lumps in the breast
  • inverted nipple
  • change in the shape size appearance of breasts
  • scaling flaking of areola
  • reddish pitting on the skin around nipple
  • discharge from the nipple.

Physical:

  • Breast exam
  • Mammogram
  • MRI
  • Ultrasound
  • CT scan
  • Biopsy.

History:

  • Previous history of breast cancer

Family History

  • If any history of breast cancer among blood relations.

Etiology : Inherited breast cancer which can be identifues by the presence of mutated gene called BRCA 1 & 2

  • Being wonan
  • High age
  • Breast conditions
  • H/O breast cancer
  • periods start before 12
  • delayed menopause
  • Delayed pregnancy
  • Never pregnant
  • Radiation therapy
  • Obesity
  • alcohol
  • Post menopausal medications

Pathology:

uncontrolled multiplixation of cells in breast by 28 fold

Can be ductal origin or lobular origin
