Answer #1

To calculate mean of Seattle's daily high temperature put the value of mean=59 degree F in C=5/9(F-32)

The mean in degree celsius = 5/9(59-32)= 15 degree celsius

standard deviation in degree celsius= 5/9(10-32)= -12.222 degree celsius

variance in degree celsius = Variance is square of standard deviation, so (-12.222)^2= 149.377 degree celsius
