1. Discuss this model, what distinguishes this models, and how this models influence current models of public administration. Are the model still relevant? What are the strengths and weaknesses of the model?
Hamilton model of public administration was focussed on combination of values like efficiency, consistency, firmness and wisdom which would create higher stability.
This model was in itself explicitly different from others as no form of administration can be efficient and consistently performing to match expectations of all societies and diaspora. It influences public as itvsounds aspirational and collaborative and much motivational.
This makes such models cumbersome to understanding and unrealistic and hence irrelevant in modern times as achieving all above virtues in practicality is an uphill task considering the opposition forces.
Strengths to this model includes higher focus on values anf virtues and allows shared execution power between state and Centre and allow specialisation of interests to better get fructified outcomes.
However weaknesses include unrealistic expectations and not considering external forces into action.
