Topic #1
Part A: Compare and contrast the ADDIE Model with another instructional design model (such as Dic & Carey or Kemp - or another model that you have researched). What are the strengths and weaknesses of the different models?
Addie model is a generic process which is used for instructional design and training. Critical components of Addie model are analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Dic and Carey is also an instructional model which makes a systematic approach for instructional design developing. Both the model utilizes an analytical method for system design and training. Moreover, both these two models are an instructional approach which analyses develop and asses the design.
The contrast between these two models are mentioned below:
• Detailing: Dic and Carey's model focuses more on detailing than Addie model. Steps are -assessment, instructional analysis, learner analysis, performance objectives, instrument assessment, instructional strategy making, instructional material development, formative assessment and instruction revision. On the contrary, Addie model is more subtle as it has only five steps like analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation.
• Performance objectives: the Dic and Carey model evaluates the performance objectives. On the contrary, Addie model to assess never the performance objectives.
• Assessment: Dic and Carey's model conducts the formative assessment in its final stage. However, Addie model conducts both formative and summative assessment.
Addie model
Strengths of Addie model are mentioned below:
• Linear nature: Addie model is linear. Thus, it takes five steps for quick instructional design.
• Sequential: It has a step by step sequential event, which is easy to understand.
• Cost-effective: It is a profitable model as it saves both time and money for both learner and instructor.
Weaknesses of the model are as follows:
• The model is unrealistically comprehensive
• It is not a detailed process. Thus, it avoids some political realities
• The scope of information is very few.
Dic and Carey model
Strengths: Dic and Carey's model in detail and analytical process which accurately evaluates all performance objectives. Moreover, the model works as a whole to ensure the result.
Weaknesses: it is a product-oriented model which lacks any systematic approach.

Compare and contrast three of the following perspectives of personality (psychodynamic, behavioral, humanistic, biological). How are they similar? How are they different? What strengths and weaknesses do they have?
Compare and contrast a theory, conceptual framework, and model. How might these three ways of thinking abstractly fit together? How is a road map like a framework or model? You are having coffee with a fellow student or colleague who thinks that theory, frameworks, and models are a waste of time and have nothing to do with practical nursing care. How might you argue that they can help you in daily nursing practice? Can you imagine different situations or contexts...
Compare and contrast two different change models. What leadership approach would you use to implement your preferred model? Why?
PART 1. Many companies use their brand as a competitive advantage. Given your knowledge about the global economy, identify three brands you believe have the strongest likelihood of remaining a source of advantage in the 21st century and explain why. Explain the effects you believe the Internet's capabilities will have on the brands you identified in the previous discussion and what the owner of the brand should do in light of them. PART 2. Analyze the internal environment of the...

Compare and contrast risk factors, the age of onset, pathophysiology and clinical manifestations of Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes. What do you think is the most important topic that must be taught to the diabetic patient and why?

Scenario 1: Identify a Research Topic and set Objectives 1.1) Research Topic (Write the topic as a phrase or a sentence) 1.2) Why did you choose this topic? (Why is this topic relevant to you?) 1.3) Objectives (Write each objective as a phrase or a sentence)): 2) Scenario 2: Literature Review List the literature reviewed. Discuss with the Nurse Educator, the strengths, relevance, reliability and currency of the information gathered. e.g: Simpson, H. (2016), 'Informed Consent: D'oh, Australian Nursing &...
Answer questions 1-5 Compare and contrast the underlying causes of time delays in predator-prey interactions. What is the Lotka-Volterra Model? What is the relationship that exists between predators and prey? How is this model affected by time? Compare functional and numerical response. What are the different types of functional responses related to prey consumed to prey density? Are predators affected by these changes in density? Is there a pattern? Compare and contrast lethal and nonlethal effects of predation. Give examples...
