Answer #1

ANSWER.

3) Calculation of number of capsules required per day.

         Ordered dose = 100 mg TDS .

         Available dose = 100 mg/capsule.

Number of dose required = Ordered dose/Available dose

                                           = 100/100

                                           = 1 capsule TDS.

TDS is three times a day.

So

Number of capsules required per day = 1 * 3

                                                                  = 3 capsules/day.

4) Calculation of tablespoon of drug administer per dose.

Ordered dose = 60 ml per day at bedtime.

         1 tablespoon = 15 ml

    So

Tablespoon of drug required per dose = 60 / 15

                                                                   = 4 tablespoon.

5) Calculation of number of tablets required.

Ordered dose = 1 mg every 12 hrs.

         Available dose = 0.5 mg.

     Number of tablets required = 1/ 0.5

                                                 = 2 tablets every 12 hrs.

Every 12 hrs is 2 times a day.

So

Number of tablets required per day = 2 * 2

                                                            = 4 tablets per day.
