Ideal body weight is the optimal weight associated with maximum life expectancy for a given height. It is important because it tells you whether your weight is in proportion to your height and gender.

It is difficult to define because it is difficult to calculate .

Ideal Body Weight formula (Male)

M: 50+(2 x inches above 5ft) !!! +2 (5' to 5'11) or +4 (6' to 6'11) or +0 (Below 5') !!!

Ideal Body Weight formula (Female)

F: 45+(2 x inches above 5ft) !!! +2 (5' to 5'11) or +4 (6' to 6'11) or +0 (Below 5') !!!
