Ina system thinking the problems are solved by analyzing that the problems are by the stystem or the system is affected by the problems .

The system thinking procedure is implemented in the healthcare to promote the health to the patients.

For example the patient admitted in the hospital with hypertension. Along with other drugs the patient was also prescribed with telmisartan-20mg once daily. But the patient is taking the drug twice daily. After 2 days of admission there is fluctuations in his blood pressue. Based on syatem based thinking in a healthcare the persons involved are physician, pharmacist, nurse and patients representative. The physician has writed the prescription in the following format:

Telma- 20 mg 1-0-0.

The pharmacist had given 20 mg telmisartan tablets for15 days. And the nurse thought that it was twicw daily for seven days and ordered the reprentative to give tablets twice daily after taking food. The reprentative followed the nurse orders . By considering all the system involved in the treatment given for the patient the problem is solved.

So, it is necessary to develop system thinking in a healthcare setting.
