Any health affecting conditions whether it be ventilator associated pneumonia or CVA's occuring after admission in the hospital is an aggregate level problem in the health field and that needs a thorough epidemiological investigation ( involve the distribution and determinants of health ) to rule out the causative factors , loopholes in the services provided to the patient etc which were responsible for the same .
It's urgent to take actions against this because it functions as a threat to the prestige and fame of the hospital as the patient is developing disease after getting admitted to the hospital . It will directly reflect the standard of care that is provided by the healthcare workers of that organisation to the patients .
