Telemedicine : This is a means of communication which deals with the treatment of people assessment, diagnosis and treatment of the diseases through media of communication in remote clinical areas.

TeleHealth :  Telehealth can deal with remote areas with no clinical access I.e. it deals with the broader aspects of providing care through communication technologies

Telemedicine/ Telehealth in United States : US Telehealth deals with communication , deals with emergency through video conferencing. It deals with the real time assessment of diagnostic changes. This deals rapidly with the dealing and treatment of the diseases.

US Health Care almost 40 to 50% follows telemedicine.

• Telemetry in US provides services of laboratory, radiology, neurology, etc.
• It deals with both rural and urban areas who doesn't have access to the health care providers in emergency situations.
• Telemedicine reduces the cost of health care for the US people who are unaffordable and to the weaker economic sections.
• Telemedicine US works under the control of American Telemetry Association. I.e ATA.
• Almost half of the US hospitals deals with telemedicine.
