8. Hot therapy causes vasodilation and hence increases blood flow. It helps to relax muscles. Hot therapy is beneficial for chronic pain.

cold therapy reduces inflammation by decreasing blood flow. It reduces risk of edema and tissue damage. It is used in case of sprain, tendinitis

9. Ingrown nail is the condition in which corner or side of toenail grows into the flesh. Redness And swelling of feet should be reported as they may be sign of gangrene.
