Ans) By definition status has to do with the societal standing or position relative social or professional standing in one' standing.

- on the other hand authority is about the right has to exercise power.

- I find both of these confusing as not all psoppe with certain status in the society or their profession have the right to exercise power & not all people with authority enjoy a certain status in their society.

- In the clinical field for instance, Nurse's enjoys a great status in society, people tend to trust them and accord them with certain status yet they do not hold necessarily much powers in hospital more than doctor or nurse leaders.

- Equating them means nurses are equal to doctors in terms of power and status.
