15.The oral contraceptive pill has to be started as per the order of the doctor.

In case if it is a combination pill with a pack of 28 then or has to be initiated on the day 1 of the cycle.Here 21 pill are active pill and 7 pills are inactive pills.

In case if it is 21 pills then it can started on Sunday and taken for three weeks and withdrawal bleeding occurs in 25th days or withing three days of stopping the consumption of pill

16.Some of the suggestions which can be made to remember her to take medication without missing on regular basis is

  • Taking it after dinner or at bed time (thus can also reduce the discomfort of the drug)
  • Set a reminder on the phone to take it daily
  • Place pills in the visible are where it can be seen daily ,so the chznxs of missing the dise us not possible

17.If the pills are missed by one day or a single dose is missed the prior day them the missed pill and today's pill has to be taken together then rest of the pill can be consumed as usual.

Similarly if two doses are missed then also it can be taken with the current dose and then continuing the rest.

If it is more than 3 missed pills then other contraception has to be followed .In this case 2 pills has to be taken each day for three days and continue. Rest of the tablet has to be not used.

18.The possible side effects are

  • Tender breast
  • Spotting
  • Nausea
  • Decreased sexual interest
  • Headache
  • Risk for weight gain.

This can be reduced by doing simple exercises.,relaxation techniques, eating food in small quantity and frequently.
