Macronutrients - how much do you know about them? Do you consider the types of macronutrients that you eat on a regular basis? Why or why not.... and where do you get your information for the choices you make?

Answer: For a healthy body, better growth and development, it is important to have proper nutrients in our diet. The macronutrients are the good source of energy. The macronutrients provides energy to the body. It also helps in growth an development. It maintains healthy weight and reduces the risk of other diseases. Macronutrients plays major role in uplifting the health as well as reduces the risk of the disease.

The major macronutrients are:

  • Protein
  • Carbohydrates
  • Lipids.
  • Fibers
  • Water
  • Vitamins
  • Minerals.

The macronutrients we take in a large amount of our daily food. The source of protein includes chicken, eggs, fish etc. Protein provides nourishment to the skin, keeps energized, helps in growth, maintain sthe body weight etc. The carbohydrates are the fuel for our body. The macro nutrients are required by our body for daily functioning. Vitamins keeps our skin, eyes healthy. The deficiency of vitamin causes eye diseases, skin disorders etc. These are needed in a large amount to keep good health. The omega 3 fatty acids keep our heart Healthy. Nuts contains a good amount of vitamins and helps us to maintain a balanced diet.

The macronutrients should be always consumed on the regular basis as it elevates the healthy life. It keeps positivity and disease free body. The information can be avail from the RDA as the diet and components that is required for our body and daily needs.
