Doctors are the most respected and trusted professionals in the healthcare sector by a patient. They always try to do the best and beneficence care to a patient. Consent is a must for either starting a treatment or to end a treatment. It is a must in case of surgery but in case of unconscious patient ,patient without any relatives,guardian or friends getting consent is impossible and also pose legal consequences later.In those situations the ED Legal Letter can be used for the purposes of consent and proceeded with the care in life threatening emergency situations.
