Answer #1

Concentration of the medication given is 150mg/500ml

Amount of drug present in 1ml = 150/500 which is 0.3mg.

Rate of administration is 15ml/hr which is 15ml per 60 minutes

For one minute rate of administration of medicine is 1/4 ml or 0.25ml.

The amount of drug received by the patient in one minute is = amount of drug present in 0.25ml

which is (drug present in 1ml)/4 = (0.3)/4

The medication received per minute is 0.075 mg / min which on rounding to tenth is 0.1mg/min.
