Box 1.3 criteria in Alligood textbook. I must be able to address two criteria for development of the professional status of nursing and why nursing pulled away from diploma nursing programs into schools of education. I am awaiting the textbook via mail. Can you please list the criteria and a brief summary of what each means?.. I can then address them with my own interpretation.

6. Attract individuals with intellectual and personal qualities of exalting service above personal gain who recognize their chosen occupation as a life work.
