1) Start Early

Arriving in job early make you feel less stressed and start your shift calmly. You will get sufficient time to do the all  preparation neccessary to start your work. Arriving early not benfit you but also the other nurse who are relieving  you, ther is less chances of missing vital data to hand over.

2) Organize your supplies

Organize all your articles so that you wont get difficulty in tracking it while in emergency.

4) Take an inventory

Taking an inventory of medication and all supplies are neccessary for stock maintainance. This will avoid scarcity of stock while in emergency.

3) Prioritize

Prioritizing the l care is an very important. It will help help to get vital things done first.

4) Review the orders

Make sure you and other nurse relieving you sign off the doctors order so that there will be less chances of missing important orders. And also you should review orders after each and every doctors round.

5) Prepare to give a report

Dont just get organized for report when report is due. Organize yourself and the information in advance. this is also a good time to analyse what went right and what went wrong during the shift.

6) Restock your station.

Restocking the medication and supplies used from the stock is one of the important duty of nurse. There will be chances of fogetting the stock medicine to replace because of stress. So be care careful with yourstock note down each and everything taken from the stock so that it get replaced on time.

7) Be prepared to give hand over.

Before leaving, as a nurse we should ensure that no mising of datas while hand over to the other nurse. So prepare early, review yourself, make sure nothing is left behind .
