Answer #1

To calculate the volume of ordered dose

A= D/ H × q

That is volume to be administered= desired dose / dose in hand × quantity it is in

Normal dose ordered by physician (D)= 1mg

A= to be calculated

D= 1 mg ( normally prescribed by physician)

Q = 1 ml as given in question

H= 1 mg as given in question

Substituting value

A=( 1mg /1mg) ×1ml

= 1 ml which is the desired volume
