Overhydration is also referred to as water intoxication or hyper hydration.

Overhydration is caused due to excessive intake of water. This results in high amount of water concentration in cell and electrolyte imbalance.

Overhydration results in swelling of tissue cells, raised ICP, swelling of brain cells, cerebral edema, mental confusion, vomiting, dizziness, muscle pain and twitching, weakness, brain damage, coma and death.

So the symptoms of overhydration are swollen tissues, swelling of the brain, death
