A health care worker should be culturally competent while working with Hispanic migrant workers. Some of the cultural considerations are:

· Treat them with respect. Older persons should be called as senora or senor as a sign of respect. Develop a connection with the person while delivering care as they believe in personal connection. This will help to develop trust.

· Addressing the person properly is another thing that needs to be considered. If you have any doubt while addressing a person ask them and find how to address them to avoid confusion

· Acknowledge the chief complaints of subjective data while recommending solutions or treatment plans.

· Use teaches back method while delivering care for the clients in oroder to make sure that the informations are understood properly.

· Schedule for a follow up visit to analyses the progress in goal attainment.

· Make sure that all the staffs are culturally competent with delivering care to Hispanic migrant workers.

· Post bilingual or Spanish sign language in the facility.

· Cultural specific interventions need to be implemented in the care plans.

· Offer flexible schedules for the workers especially in the evenings (Juckett.G, 2013)
