Ans.) By definition, art is the idiom of sentiments and creativity. It starts with an idea or thought and sprouts in the craftsman's hands. There is no distinction between commercial art and fine art in this regard; both initiated with imagination. The distinction lies in why the artist is making it.

Generally, it is not anticipated to see commercial art in a museum or gallery. It's made to trade something, normally an article. The objective of fine art is to make a stylish article that is invigorating for its fine and interesting characteristics. It doesn't force the spectator to go out and accomplish something or buy something. Fine art is respected and critically acclaimed. Commercial art might be appreciated and acknowledged, but it's not going to hang in the Louvre. Commercial art tends to utilize acquired skill, whereas fine art is an inborn quality. Commercial art incorporates publicizing, visual computerization, marking, logos and book representations. While, fine art incorporates canvases, models, printmaking, photography, establishment, multi-media, sound workmanship and execution.

Hence, it is the inborn talent of an individual which makes him/her a fine art master, at the same time a commercial artist is one who learns it by hard work.
