The main purpose of using E-prescription is to provide better facilities to the patients which save money as well as time. E-prescription reduce the level of error as most of the error occurs during dispensing the drug by pharmacy due to poor handwriting. The major goals of E-prescription are to avoid the medical error, provide better care and treatment to the patients, and also increase the efficacy of the drug by eliminating the chances of drug interaction etc.
