huston is a major port city located on the southern cost of the US, known for its activities in gas and oil exploration and technology, refinery production, transmission, export {port city). It provides one third population of the city and from here the gas needs of different countries are completed.
I think it will be very tough to maintain this status of world capital of energy because increasing competition in the field .
The way the energy sector is growing globally and the international level climate conference like Paris Climate Summit discussed about Clean Energy and International Solar Alliance, it shows the world's attitude towards renewable energy. There will be a greater focus on clean energy in the future and depending on the conventional energy sources like gas, coal and oil due to increasing role of wave energy, tidal energy, solar energy, wind energy.
Clean energy{renewal energy) is being promoted in the region by countries like France, India ,Germany etc at a big scale .
But there are still many countries in the world which are not even least developed and developing and do not have technology related to renewable energy and clean energy, so their dependence on conventional energy sources like oil gas coal etc. still remains, so huston benefits from all these things will get.usa will have to penetrate new market like African countries and southern american countries to maintain energy capital status with cheaper coast and timely delivery .
