Medical doctors have to complete a 4-year undergraduate programme in a science subject. Then the student has to spend four years in medical school. They get training in all specialty areas. After completing final exams the students has to clear Medical Licensing Examination. Then they choose the residency programme based on their interest. Licensing rules and regulations have differed in each state. Medical doctors have wonderful future opportunities based on the specialty and they increase the employment opportunities by doing continuing education in different specialty areas. On average the mean salary of a doctor is #197,000 annually.

Medical surgeons have to be specialized in any particular areas of the field such as orthopedic, cardiac, plastic surgery etc. Then he has to complete 3 to 8 years of experience in the surgical residency. They work under the supervision of experienced surgeons to get training and then independently work as surgeons. General surgeons will get more demand in the future because everyone is running behind of specialty areas. The Job growth is increased to 20% by the next 4 years. A surgeon can get an annual salary of $247,520 approximately.

Physician Assistant work under the medical professional like a doctor, surgeons, and be part of the medical team. They assist in specific tasks, treatment plans, and during the procedure. First, the physician Assistant has to complete a four-year undergraduate programme in a science-related subject. Then he/she has to gain experience in health care setting before applying of Physician Assistant programme. Then he/she has to complete the master degree and to clear the licensing exam. PA growth and demand will be rapidly high in the next decades. They have a powerful career path in the future. The annual salary is between $35,000 to 97,000 depending on the state.
