Answer: As mentioned in above case, Juanita lives in low-income housing in the inner city. The place seems to be more compact as well as chances of increased air pollution is more which can affect the severity of asthma. The second problem is the language as due to cultural and socioeconomic factors, they won't be able to understand the proper language such as English. So, it becomes difficult to develop a nursing education plan. Sometimes due to cultural differences, people believe on the traditional remedies for the treatment, maybe nurse planning for the education plan might be unable to know about these medications and hence it may interact with the asthma medications. Nursing should educate the Juanita about proper care regarding her health. She should always carry inhaler with her as when going out to play. She should avoid extreme temperature condition which may increase the risk of asthma.
