Natural history of health and illness pathway :

Health and illness pathway or health and illness continuum it was first proposed by Travis in 1972. Well being or health means complete physical and mental, emotional, spiritual health well-being and as well as absence of illness.

* If any deviations from physical by affected due to microorganisms, mental or emotional due to stress the illness may come for the people and mild to moderate and severe illness and finally death.

* If any person is having any disease or illness ,according to this pathway sings and symptoms are treated with medical treatment the client may get cure.

* and get recover.

* if not treated well may go to severe and disability and death, it is in medical model way.

* In Nursing care providers interventions, if patients get awareness, educated about the problem, they may get knowledge to improve their quality of health.

* That means high levels of wellness.

* This health and illness pathway is natural because Optimal health is maintained by people when they are in all the ways are healthy. In this the peoples are 100 % healthy ,it is rare.

* Good health means it maintained by normal nutrientional status and exercises by persons and with or without illness.

* Neutral means no symptoms of illness but no exercises and not high health priorities.

* Poor health means using drugs for disease and loosing normal functions of the body.

* disease means Poor quality of life and, limited body functions. And less recovery status.
