MIPS - The Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) is a new payment mechanism that will provide annual updates to physicians based on performance in four categories: quality, resource use, clinical practice improvement activities and meaningful use of an electronic health record system.

Financial implications means the influence that something has on your financial situation. It can be good or bad. Organisation score has a direct proportional to financial outcome ,if the score is good financial outcome is also good.

A good score of an organisation in terms of of its :-

- services

- supplies

- 24×7 availability

- affordability

- accessibility

- productivity

Yes, the use of a registry is required because it will provide all the details of the financial services and outcomes in terms of different time period and it will act as a legal proof for future concerns.
