What is the difference between Ethics and Morals? How do they work together? How can they be at odds with each other? (Please respond in terms of a medical setting. Remember you are in a Medical Law and Ethics course)

Morality - refers to 'codes' we hold about right and good behaviour. It influences about how we think about ethical issues

Ethics - deciding how you should respond to things in the right way.

Example of a situation ,in which both of these terms odds with each other - In my emergency posting ,one case of road accident and one more accident case with severe spinal cord injury and paralysis of all four limbs came. According to the triage , physician gave the treatment to the one whose survival rate is more than wasting time on those whose survival rate is less. In this example if we talk about morals and ethics then we will say that we should treat every patient equally but in this case something else is practiced , morals and ethics clash with each other .
