NURSING PROCESS-It is a systemic guide to client-centred guide. there are six standards,

• Assessment- there are two types of assessment subjective data and objective data. eg: lab values, vital signs, pain scale score
• diagnosis- nursing diagnosis is mainly done under the guidelines of NANDA nursing diagnosis eg; impaired tissue perfusion-, risk for infection-, disturbed body image- etc
• outcome identification- short term and long term goals are there. eg: patient will demonstrate compliance with the treatment.
• planning -planning nursing actions for getting the desired outcome. eg: apply tepid sponge to reduce body temperature
• implementation - documenting whether the planned interventions have done or not. eg: provided tepid sponge.
• evaluation- evaluating the result of nursing interventions.eg: body temperature reduced to 99 degrees Fahrenheit.

health promotion

it is the process which helps the people to improve or to increase control over their health.

eg: mass media campaign about the importance of sanitation

health prevention

it is the measure taken to control diseases. three types of prevention, primary, secondary and tertiary

eg: nationwide immunization, cessation of smoking, screening test or annual health checkup
