Question #3: What other approach have you witnessed in which people influenced another? l'd be particularly pleased if you kept it to the boss/subordinate scenario but will accept other situations.

There are certain ways we create influence or get influenced by others, what changes required are given below:

• Reciprocity : what we want we should always give to others as described by Newton's third law "every action has equal and opposite reaction".
• Consistency: it can be explained through example if we get some assignment we have to do in time or in general we must perform our duties in time.
• Liking: We have to know someone we have to find common ground it will help us to concrete our relationship . For example if we have to do friendship with someone I have to know his like and dislikes to get to next level.
• Scarcity : it means providing someone those things which he lacks.
• Social proof

So if we talk about boss subordinate situation if you want to influence your boss, use the given tips above but more precisely. If boss is friendly thats alright because boss has certain code of conduct towards subordinates to get what going on in the firm. If we follow these tips this would create a better impact.
