This is a kind of serious mistake done by the person who sent the fax. As soon as when this individual realize that she had faxed to the wrong number she should admit that it was her mistake and she should practice the accountability of the ethics in this situation. To do this she should immediately approach the higher official who are responsible for the record management and should explain the exactly what she had done wrong in this case.

She should not take any decision in this situation, rather the one who is incharge for the medical record can deal this matter according to the kind of present situation.
