1. According to me the communicable disease about which our community should be most concerned of is Tuberculosis .
2. It mostly and currently affects the low socioeconomic status group in the community who lives in the slums ,who are malnourished ,lives in over crowded areas ,don't have a proper sanitation ,drinking water facilities and availability of health care services .
3. We can prevent this by the following steps :-
- making availability of proper living conditions including drinking water , sanitation etc .
- provision of health care services which are easily accessible and affordable
- providing health education to the population about the disease and it's prevention method
- teaching them when to reach a physician and what are the sign and symptoms of the disease
- provision of proper nutrition to the children who are malnourished by the help of government and NGO's
- Teaching the population about hygiene and how to maintain cleanliness like hand washing , using handkerchief while sneezing or coughing etc
- Making them aware of the immunization required for the proper growth and development and to avoid infection
