Ovarian cancer occurs in female's ovary which produces the egg. It is a condition when there is abnormalities in the growth of the cell in the ovaries.

It is the 10th largest disease or cancer that is common in the women of United States. This can happen to any of women who is suffering from ovaries abnormalities.

The symptoms includes:

  • Fatigue
  • Pain during sexual contact
  • Abnormal menstruation
  • Menopause

This can be detected by the transvaginal ultrasound or the blood test which shows the abnormal growth of the cells.

The treatment includes the medication, prevention can be done by using condoms during sexual contact, removal of the ovary to prevent ovarian cancer.
