Is continuous innovation better than statistical thinking? Why or why not? Depending on your answer, how should healthcare use your chosen approach?
No. According to me, only statistical thinking can help to improve the quality continuously and patient satisfaction. Even though innovation can improve the healthcare facility in the number of ways, but it focuses only on technology. It does not consider the patient's values and culture. Further, advanced technology increases the health care cost and burden to the patients. Only statistical thinking can make the patient healthier and happier by considering each individual and their cultural values and norms.
Improvement can be achieved by analysis, measurement, and interpretation of the data and its variation. Only statistical process can analyze these data in a better way and conclude the results. Statistical thinking can control the overutilization of technology and health care cost. Statistical Process chart can be widely introduced into the medical practice to identify the special cause variation. Perhaps, it clears the issues and challenges arises over the arguments and assumptions.

Our Hui (2014)reading this week provides an example of the use of continuous distributions to model and understand an engineering challenge: wind speed distribution for a wind farm anywhere in the world. Differences in the modeling distributions, parameters, and limitations of several continuous distributions are discussed, including strengths and weaknesses relative to particular project settings. Write and submit a summary of the article, with an emphasis on describing the statistical aspects of the discussion rather than the actual wind farm...
