Key risk factors for STI infections :

* Multiple partners,

* unsafe blood transfusion,

* previous sti infections,

* unprotected sex,

* sex with partner having sore on genital region,

* poor genital hygiene,

* poor general health,

* unhygienic practices by service providers during delivery, abortion, during IUCD insertion.

* female and male sex workers,

* urethral discharge and infected vaginal discharge. ect.

To cut down the risk of sti infection,

* Follow protected sex,

* Avoid multiple sex partners,

* safe blood transfusion,

* maintain good menstrual hygiene,

* avoid contact with infectious persons,

* avoid prostitution.

Treatment is penicillin, doxycyclin, erythromycin.

2. Gonorrhea : which is caused by Neisseria gonorrhea, it is a bacterial infection.

Treatment is inj. Ceftriaxone, tab. Azee, tab. Doxycycline.

3. Genital warts : caused by human papillomavirus,

Treatment includes lamivudine, entinavir, ect

4. AIDS : is causes by HIV virus.

Treatment includes zudovudine, lamivudine, adenavir ect.

5. Genital scabies : which is caused by sarcoptes scabies.

Treatment is benzyle benzoate.

Symptoms of all types of STI includes :

* genital ulcers,

* burning sensation while passing urine,

* discharges from Pennsylvania, and vagina,

* pain during sexual intercourse,

* spontaneous abortions,

* cervical cancer,

* opthalmia neonaturum due to gonorrhea.

* prematurity.

* scrotal swelling ect.

These all infections are transmitted through sexually contacted from one person to another, who is having infected.
