Health beleif model is a model that explain or predict the human behaviour in reference to different medical treatment given to them .

It gives the idea about what people think about health problem and the action taken to prevent that problem.

Need:-This model was developed in 1950'sat U.S.Public service as the screening test for TB was failed.It determine the behaviour of people to different disease and their lifestyle behaviour.

Benefits:- 1).This model help to chamge the perception of people about different diseases ,incidence of diseases,consequences of diseases by changing their perception .

2).It also change the mindset of people that by changing their behaviour ,they can reduce the risk of disease .

3).Intervention on health belief model encourages people and gives hopes .

4).Their aim is to boost the self efficacy that how they can be treated earlier by changing in their lifestyle .

Improvement 1). This model consider the behavioural aspect but it also consider the habits (smoking ,drinking ) of the people .

2).Emotion should be consider in predicting the health related behaviour .It may also effect one's behaviour .

3).It should also consider the environmental and economic factors.
